Purity (particle_ug)(1).png

 EV Purity from Fluorescent Standard

High EV Purity from Human Plasma

SEC fractionation gently removes ~99% of soluble protein from human plasma, enriching intact EVs.

This delivers high particle-to-protein ratio, a key metric demonstrating purified EV sample purity.

Efficient Lipoprotein Separation

Lipoproteins are largely separated from the EV-rich fractions, with HDL/ApoA-I and LDL/ApoB concentrated in later SEC fractions.

This enables efficient collection of EV-rich fractions with reduced lipoprotein contamination.

Lipophilic DiI inserts into EV lipid membranes and co-elutes entirely within EV-rich SEC fractions. This verifies all DiI signal is EV-associated, confirming high purity of the labelled EV population.

Beyond Size-Based Separation

EVs and ApoB-containing lipoproteins such as LDL and VLDL occupy overlapping size ranges, making conventional SEC alone insufficient for clean separation.

Our Composite Series adds hydrophobic binding and ion-exchange interactions to SEC, creating multiple layers of separation to more effectively remove lipoprotein contaminants while preserving EVs.
